Our Priorities

Restore Fiscal Responsibility to State and Federal Spending

The American Objective Project is working to restore the proper relationship between the federal and state governments. Today, massive federal debt threatens to plunge our economy into a severe recession hurting most small businesses and America's middle class.

At the state level we're working to promote the Oklahoma Template, an effort to root out government waste in the federal funds states receive.

Reduce Bureaucracy, Regulation, and Red Tape

The American Objective Project supports the Reigns Act and the Congressional Review Act. These proposals remove the power of the federal government to impose regulations without Congressional approval. The Reigns Act requires Congress to approve any new "major" federal regulation before it can take effect. This would increase the legislature's direct responsibility for regulatory policy. The CRA removes the 60 day limit on Congressional oversight of new regulations.

Promote Reforms That Help Small Business

We are working for reform that would make permanent the Qualified Business Income (QBI) deduction and expand R&D credits. We're also working with the states to expand public-private collaboration to reduce state spending and encourage efficiency. But that's just the beginning. We are fighting government overreach at the federal and state levels that will limit the gig economy, and were working to expand support for employer provided childcare where it makes sense.

Bringing AI to Small Business

You know AI will reshape the economy, but do you have the time or resources to cut through the hype use AI to reduce your costs, boost productivity, and open new opportunities. AOP is bridging that gap by providing clear, practical guidance, as well as the tools you need to integrate AI into your operations. Our industry specific AI tools will help you automate routine tasks, analyze customer data, and improve financial decision-making. We are working to make sure small business isn't left behind in the AI revolution.
